I am writing to endorse a great patriot, decorated veteran, consistent conservative, and my friend, Chip Cravaack.

Over the past eight months, you have had the opportunity to meet Chip and hear his conservative message.  Chip believes that Representative Oberstar and the government must remove their hands from our checkbooks.  He worries about the increasingly growing debt and the detrimental effects it is having and will have on the future generation’s ability to live “The American Dream.” Over the past fifteen years that my family has known Chip and his wife Tracy, we have seen Chip not only discuss his beliefs, but also dedicate his life to living these conservative values. My family and I are keenly aware of his pro life stance.  As a fellow hunter and sportsman, I appreciate his commitment to protecting our Second Amendment rights.

Representative Oberstar has demonstrated by his healthcare vote that he does not value the Constitution. He has also reversed his pro life promises. We need our voice in congress to be the voice of the people of the 8^th Congressional District.

As someone who consistently practices my right to freedom of speech by challenging the policies of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi, I am thankful for his 28 years of service in the United States Navy where he fought to protect our rights and freedoms.  While finishing my third term as Mayor of Wyoming, I appreciate the consistent conservative message I’ve heard from Chip. No matter where we were; in my home, at a BPOU convention, a candidate meet and greet or a candidate forum. Chip is not only the most electable candidate but he is also the best conservative candidate in this race to return the power of 8^th Minnesota Congressional seat to the people of the 8th District.

I give my heartfelt endorsement of Chip Cravaack for the Republican endorsement to represent the 8^th District in Congress.
